Our state-of-the-art Medical Cyclotron Facility is equipped with GE Healthcare PETtrace 880 cyclotron series, a cutting-edge compact automated and dual-particle cyclotron system. It is specifically designed for fast, easy and efficient production of PET tracers. This system is built around a compact negative ion cyclotron with a vertical mid-plane of proven design, featuring both protons and deuterons, thereby allowing maximum flexibility. The system can be configured with different types of targets as well as process systems that facilitate the production of common PET radioisotopes. With PETtrace 880, we can produce PET isotopes such as oxygen-15, nitrogen-13, carbon-11, fluorine-18 and several solid target isotopes. The isotopes are automatically transferred to the chemistry processing systems, wherein they undergo efficient conversion into finished PET tracers and precursors.
