Prerequisite for the scan
- No preparation needed for normal CT scan
- You need to wear comfortable clothing and avoid jewellery or metal objects
Note- You are advised to report one hour before the scheduled time
- You should take an adult attendant. Children and pregnant women are not allowed to the center as an attendant
- Some CT scan may require fasting
On the day of appointment
- Doctor’s prescription is checked and confirmed
- Fill your details in the registration form
Duration: 15-20 mins (approximately)
Payment process
You have the option to pay via-
- Cash
- Online through credit/ debit card/ online banking
Duration: 5-10 mins (approximately)
Clinical History
- Previous medical history and treatment is studied by doctors
- In some cases, recent serum creatinine value (within 30 days) will be needed
- Last Menstrual Period (LMP) date will be asked for female in reproductive age
- Patient declaration and consent will be obtaind
- Patient will have to notify about allergic reaction to contrast dye in the past, if any
Duration: 15-20 mins (approximately)
Imaging
- Lie flat on the CT scanner bed and remains still during the entire scanning period
- If needed, you will be injected or asked to drink oral contrast (This helps to get a better image quality)
- After completion of scanning, your CT scan is reviewed
- If needed, the scanning procedure may be repeated
Duration: 15-30 mins (approximately)
Report Collection
- Reports are available within 24- 48 hours
- Collect the reports between 7 am to 11 pm
- Reports can be sent via courier, email, or WhatsApp
Note – Hardcopy reports and courier facility is available on payment basis
